Sterling Silver

925 sterling silver is a lightweight yet durable metal made with 92.5% pure silver. It is designed for everyday wear and offers a bright, timeless finish that works beautifully across different jewelry styles.

At LeMing, our sterling silver jewelry is crafted to balance comfort, shine, and durability. With proper care and regular maintenance, your silver pieces can continue to look beautiful over time.

What to Know

Sterling silver is durable, but it can naturally tarnish over time when exposed to air, moisture, sweat, perfume, cosmetics, and other daily environmental factors.

Tarnishing is normal for silver jewelry and does not mean the piece is defective. Proactive maintenance is the best way to help preserve the shine and extend the lifespan of your sterling silver jewelry.

How to Store

Store your sterling silver jewelry in a safe, dry place when it is not being worn. We recommend keeping each piece separately in a soft pouch or jewelry box to help prevent scratches, tangling, and contact with moisture.

Avoid storing silver jewelry in humid areas such as bathrooms. For better long-term care, keep your pieces away from direct sunlight, chemicals, and abrasive surfaces.

If available, you may also store your silver jewelry with an anti-tarnish strip to help slow down oxidation.

Our Commitment

At LeMing, jewelry is more than craftsmanship and style. We care about creating pieces that are thoughtfully made, carefully selected, and designed for lasting beauty.

From material selection to production details, we focus on quality, comfort, and timeless design, so every piece can become part of your everyday life with confidence.

How to Clean Sterling Silver Jewelry

Proactive maintenance is the best way to prolong the lifespan of sterling silver.

  • After wearing, gently wipe your jewelry with a soft, dry cloth to remove sweat, oil, and residue.

  • To remove tarnish, gently buff the surface with a silver polishing cloth.

  • For deeper cleaning, use warm water and mild, detergent-free soap, then rinse carefully and dry completely with a soft cloth before storing.

  • Avoid abrasive cleaners, harsh chemicals, bleach, and rough polishing tools.

  • Ultrasonic cleaners may be safe for plain sterling silver jewelry, but should not be used if the piece contains pearls, opals, emeralds, or other delicate gemstones.

Please note: If your jewelry is made with oxidized silver or has a special darkened finish, it should be cleaned differently. We recommend dry cleaning only, without water or silver polishing products, as these may remove the finish.
